Cloud to Cloud Migrations Are Getting Hot and Interesting
As Cloud-to-Cloud (C2C) Migration requirements and discussions are increasing with enterprise customers I wanted to share my views. While I am involved in many of these, the views shared below are purely personal and do not represent TCS or our esteemed customers and partners. Also, I will be using the term "C2C Migration" in the article below.
In the last 5-6 years, most of our discussions were around On-Premises to Cloud Migration and out of that, 60% was in IaaS migrations, and the rest was in Application Transformation and Modernization.
