Yet another post of the series of thread dump analysis that I’ve done during root cause analysis of various issues at work.
Issue
A red alert was issued by production monitoring system saying that several managed servers are in SHUTDOWN state and the Admin Server console as well echoed the same. However ps output showed that the same Managed Server processes above are still running.
